Our Company
We believe organizations change when people feel genuinely heard
Bochica was built around that conviction — and around a way of working that takes time, asks careful questions, and respects what it finds.

How Bochica came to be
Bochica began in Cali with a simple observation: most organizational difficulties are not structural problems first — they are relational ones. Tensions accumulate quietly, roles drift without agreement, and the rhythm of how people work together slowly loses its shape.
We started because we wanted to offer something slower and more careful than the typical consulting engagement — not a two-day workshop followed by a slide deck, but a genuine, sustained presence alongside teams doing the hard work of figuring out how to work well together.
Our name, Bochica, references the Muisca deity associated with sunlight cutting through fog — a fitting metaphor for what we try to do: help organizations see their own patterns a little more clearly, without drama or urgency, just with honest attention.
Our Mission
What drives our work
Cultivate clarity. We help teams name what is actually happening — not what the org chart suggests should be happening.
Center trust. Every engagement is built on discretion, honesty, and respect for the people inside the organization.
Stay useful. Our deliverables are made to be used, not archived. We prefer a four-page summary people actually read over a sixty-page report no one returns to.
Work without pressure. We don't push. We accompany. The pace of change belongs to the organization, not to us.
The Team
The people who do this work
Our team is small by intention. Each engagement receives genuine attention, not a delegated associate.

How We Work
Standards we hold ourselves to
These aren't policies we post on a wall — they are habits shaped by years of doing this kind of work.
Confidentiality Agreement
Every engagement begins with a clear, written confidentiality agreement. We detail what information stays inside the project, and we keep that commitment.
Structured Process
Our services follow a documented methodology reviewed and refined across multiple engagements. We adapt the approach, but never improvise its foundations.
Feedback at Every Stage
We check in, invite corrections, and adjust as we go. Clients should never feel surprised by what we produce, because they have shaped it throughout.
Written Deliverables
We produce written summaries and documents you own fully. Our findings do not disappear when the engagement ends.
Data Privacy Practices
Personal information gathered during interviews and sessions is handled with care, stored securely, and deleted after the agreed retention period.
Continuous Learning
Our team participates in ongoing professional development in organizational development, facilitation, and adult learning. We bring current thinking to every engagement.
Our Expertise
Organizational advisory for Colombian businesses
Business consulting in Colombia comes in many forms. Some practices specialize in financial strategy, others in process automation. Bochica occupies a different corner of the field — the one concerned with how human beings actually experience organizational life.
Our work draws on disciplines including organizational development, facilitation, systems thinking, and culture analysis. What ties these together is a consistent interest in the relationship between how people relate and how organizations perform. In our experience, the two are inseparable.
Working from Cali, we bring familiarity with the organizational culture of the Valle del Cauca region — the communication norms, the hierarchy patterns, the particular challenges of family-owned businesses navigating growth. That local knowledge informs how we approach every engagement.
We are not a large firm. We do not take on more engagements than we can accompany with full attention. That constraint is deliberate — and it is one of the reasons the organizations we work with tend to return, or to recommend us to peers who are facing similar situations.
